B2B Platform for Test Prep Content

I was hired to design a B2B platform - including student, faculty and administrator experiences - to deliver test prep content to K12 districts, colleges, universities and private organizations. My initial designs focused on K12 and, once those were tested via an early adopter program, I tailored all designs to the company's other verticals: medical, nursing, accounting and legal.

Process

Design by Executive Committee

The Head of Product Design and I worked closely with the K12 content team to identify, understand, and prioritize user needs collected via interviews, focus groups, observation, and surveys. I created all of the wireframes and passed them through a rigorous executive committee review where a boardroom of ~12 people would pour over every screen, feature, drop-down, and icon that made its way into the platform. Then, I'd test these features with participants in the early adopter program, collect their feedback, and prioritize enhancements.
